Why isn’t my discount code working?

We’re sorry to hear you’re having problems with your promo code. First, make sure you are using all caps when entering the code. If it’s still not working, ensure the code isn’t for one use only, and hasn’t already been used. If you are still encountering issues, please contact us at questions@hungryherd.ca, and we’ll help get this resolved right away.

Do you have a monthly subscription so I don’t have to keep coming back to the website?

No, not at this time, but sign up to our newsletter for any changes or updates to always be the first in the know!

How do I talk to someone? How do I contact support?

How do I recycle the dry ice?

Dry ice handling tips:

  • Dry ice is -78.5°C. Handle with care like with a towel or oven mitt.
  • Keep dry ice away from pets & kids.
  • Keep well ventilated in an open space.
  • Keep off of countertops so they don’t crack.

Can I change my order once my order is placed?

If you want to change your order, please do so before 1:00 pm on the same day you placed your order.

What if you deliver and I am not home?

Please check our Delivery Schedule Your order will be delivered between 9 AM to 5 PM on the day your delivery is scheduled to arrive. To ensure safety and freshness, our meat boxes contain dry ice, which will keep your meat properly frozen for a few hours. If you would prefer to pick up your order here is a list of Pick Up Locations.

HOW IT WORKS / QA ISSUE QUESTIONS

Why would I buy from you when I can purchase the exact same meat from the grocery store?

Our prices are a lot lower, and we deliver it right to your door, making it super convenient to get the proteins you love without having to make a trip to the grocery store.

How long can I freeze the meat up until?

Our quality meat can remain frozen for up to one year.

How do I purchase a box?

Ordering is easy! Each order is for an 8 kg box. Our meat selections are all in 2kg portions, so simply add the four proteins you want to the box to check out.

Do you sell other protein options?

No, not at this time.

Do you sell seafood?

No, not at this time.

Does the meat have hormones?

Like humans, all animals have hormones naturally in their systems, but no additional hormones are added. In Canada, it’s illegal to sell meat with hormones.

How do I earn points?

Earn points by fulfilling certain task like leaving a product review or sharing our Facebook page etc. The list of task can be viewed by clicking the  "Rewards" button on the bottom left side of the website, under "Earn Herd Points".

 

How do I redeem my earned points?

Redeem your points at any time by clicking the "Rewards" button on the bottom left side of the website. Under "Get Rewards", select the fixed amount discount you would like to redeem. The discount will be applied at checkout.
